Metro Gearbox Driven Gear

Metro gearbox driven gear is applied for the electro locomotive reducer with raw material of EN10084 18CrNiMo7-6 which can fully meet the strength requirement and actual condition.

The tooth flank is carburized that enhance the tooth flank hardness a lot. Before tooth grinding, we will use the MASTA software to simulate and calculate the tooth grinding modification. And then according to the calculated result to applied for the tooth grinding process to improve the tooth quality level.

The transmission ratio and quality of the gearbox is influenced by the gear, thus the metro drive will be influenced. The higher quality level the gear is, the better the gear meshing condition would be. And the noise will also be well controlled.

The gear quality level we provide is DIN 3962 class 6, the modification would fully meet customer's design. The lead non-symmetrical crowning modification on single flank will reach max. 0.44mm.
